چکیده
The objective : to study the prognostic significance of ratio absolute number neutrophils lymphocytes (NLR) and platelets (PLR) in assessing risk cardiovascular complications non-cardiac surgical interventions. Subjects Methods . 85 patients aged 66 [61‒70] years who underwent elective vascular surgery were examined. Results Concomitant circulatory diseases diagnosed 98.8%. PLR < 91.2 with sensitivity 60% specificity 67.8% was associated diabetes mellitus (AUC – 0.686; 95% CI 0.576‒0.783, p = 0.0022). Cardiovascular registered 9.3% patients. NLR an independent predictor complications: OR 5.216; 1.246‒21.826, 0.005. > 2.1 discriminated 75% 0.827; 0.690–0.921; 0.004). also a 1.0111; 1.0001–1.0223; 0.027. 105.5 allowed identifying NT-proBNP 650 pg/ml 75.0% 61.8% 0.740; 0.630‒0.832; 0.0308). Conclusion can be used identify increased cardiac when undergoing surgery. Further research this field is advisable.

Evaluation of the Relationship between Hematological Indices and Cardiovascular Events in Isfahan Cohort Study
Background and Objective: Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death in developing countries. Inflammation significantly contributes to the process of atherosclerosis. Therefore, evaluating White Blood Cells (WBC) and platelet counts as markers of inflammatory as well as hematocrit as a marker of blood viscosity may predict coronary events. The present study aimed to evaluate th...

OBJECTIVES among patients undergoing noncardiac surgery, our objectives were to: (1) determine the feasibility of undertaking a large international cohort study; (2) estimate the current incidence of major perioperative vascular events; (3) compare the observed event rates to the expected event rates according to the Revised Cardiac Risk Index (RCRI); and (4) provide an estimate of the proporti...
متن کاملActivities of daily living and cardiovascular complications following elective, noncardiac surgery.
BACKGROUND Algorithms for preoperative cardiac evaluation prior to noncardiac surgery use indices of the metabolic equivalent of activities of daily living (METs). We evaluated METs as a predictor of cardiac complications following elective, noncardiac surgery. METHODS A study was performed in an outpatient university preadmission center METs were estimated prospectively for 5,939 inpatients ...
متن کاملCardiac Complications in Patients Undergoing Major Noncardiac Surgery.
A lthough major noncardiac surgery has the potential to improve the quality and prolong the duration of a patient’s life, surgery may also precipitate complications such as death from cardiac causes, myocardial infarction or injury, cardiac arrest, or congestive heart failure.1 In this article, we review what is known about the epidemiology and mechanisms of perioperative cardiac complications ...
